Give peace a chance

Pakistan’s decision to realise the captured Indian pilot as a peace gesture is laudable. Through this gesture, the PM has proved himself to be the true leader of a peaceful nation. War is not a solution to any problem. If war broke out, the conflict would result in irreversible destruction across the globe. Both countries have nuclear weapons which are the deadliest. The UN should play its role and convince the two countries to resolve their disputes through dialogue. The need of the hour is to save the planet from a man-made disaster.Adnan Ahmed ChannaIslamabad
