ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Federal Cabinet will be held on Thursday (today) to deliberate over a 20-point agenda, ARY News reported.
Prime Minister Imran Khan yesterday summoned a meeting of the cabinet at the Prime Minister’s Office at 11:30 AM today.
The cabinet will also look over the implementation of its earlier decisions.
The cabinet in its meeting will also approve bilateral agreements of cooperation with other countries.
The cabinet will discuss the Anti-Narcotics Policy-2018 in its session.
The federal cabinet with Prime Minister Imran Khan in chair will likely to mull over offering relief to development projects in Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules 2004.
The cabinet meeting will approve the amended National Disaster Management Act 2010.
The appointment of the chairman of Employees Oldage Benefits Institution (EOBI) is also part of the cabinet session agenda, according to sources.
The ministers’ council will discuss the appointment of the Chairman Gwadar Port Authority. It will also approve the appointment of the President of Zarai Taraqiati Bank (ZTB).
In its previous meeting the cabinet was briefed on the softening of Pakistan’s visa regime for the citizens of a number of countries and the Hajj Policy.
Prime minister’s Adviser Dr. Ishrat Hussain had also submitted a report on reforms and restructuring in government institutions.
