ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Communications Murad Saeed claimed that seven opposition members, belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), approached him for a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly on Wednesday, MNA Murad Saeed said, “Seven of their [PML-N] members asked me for an NRO but their cases will proceed. No one will be given NRO.”
He further said that the first person who had asked him for NRO was “present in the Parliament at this time.”

One session of the National Assembly costs millions of rupees but the Opposition members always attend it to repeatedly ask the same questions like “what are the charges against the PML-N?” and “why are their leaders being arrested?”
“Rather than public issues, personal issues are discussed in the session,” the state minister complained saying that the public sent us to the Parliament for resolving their problems.
Whoever plundered the country will be held accountable, Saeed asserted adding “it is my responsibility to not spare the corrupts in any condition.”
