
ISLAMABAD: An officer of the Foreign Office of Pakistan and her husband were found dead in a Hunza hotel on late Friday night, ARY News reported.
According to the FO, Assistant Director Syeda Fatimi and her spouse Shoaib Hassan died of gas poisoning.
Their dead bodies have been sent from Hunza to Islamabad. Fatimi will be laid to rest in Attock, while Shoaib will be buries in Islamabad.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Foreign Secretary have expressed sorrow over the deaths and prayed for the departed souls.
“I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of a young officer of FSP, Syeda Fatimee and her husband Syed Shoaib Hassan. The Foreign office has lost a promising officer. May the departed souls rest in peace & the bereaved families be blessed with patience to bear this irreparable loss,” the foreign minister wrote in a tweet.

While, Tehmina Janjua said she was very sad on tragic death of young, bright officer, Syeda Fatimee, (who just returned from language training), and her husband Syed Shoaib Hassan (an engineer).
“Visited their inconsolable families. A great loss for MOFA family. May Allah grant the newly married couple jannah,” she said.
