Pakistan will become a great country: PM Imran

Imran khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said his government raised the issue of blasphemous caricatures in Netherlands at the international level that prompted the Dutch government to cancel the sacrilegious exhibition forthwith.

Addressing a two-day International Rehmatal-Lil-Aalameen conference in Islamabad, PM Khan said his government would move a resolution across different countries for their endorsement to prevent occurrence of such irreligious events in future.

The Prime Minister directed the Higher Education Commission to set up special chairs on Seerat-Un-Nabi at three different universities ensuring a specific research on the life, character and teachings of the last Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).

He said it would help educate and enlighten our new generation as to how our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) carved out the first ever Islamic welfare state of Madina and how He transformed the characters of Arabs in a short span of time.

He said a number of people had become the custodians of Islam. “Let me assure you, Pakistan will become a great country,” said Mr. Khan, adding that Pakistan was created in the name of Islam.

He said the Almighty Allah had created every person for a purpose. “I began realizing a change in myself after I studied the life of the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H),” he added.

“Your faith gets strengthened the day when Allah bestows you with his guidance.” “Allah guided me to the right path and my life got changed afterwards,” PM Khan said. He also emphasized upon people to study the Holy Quran thoroughly in order to bring about much-needed change in their lives.

He concluded that his government would mark International Rehmatal-Lil-Aalameen every year with a religious fervor.
