KARACHI: The Karachi police on Tuesday issued an alternative traffic plan for Eid Miladun Nabi for the convenience of citizens.
According to the details, traffic will be suspended on MA Jinnah Road at 1 pm as three main Eid Miladun Nabi processions will be organized on the road and all the vehicles will be diverted to alternate routes.
As the main procession taken out from Memon Masjid, traffic from the side of Lea Market, Agha Khan Jamat Khana, Kharadar, Crane Chowrangi, G Allana Road and Mai Kolachi will not be allowed to proceed to MA Jinnah Road.
The vehicular traffic from Keymari via Jinnah Bridge will not be allowed to proceed to Merewether Tower and diverted to alternate roads from Jinnah Bridge. Whereas traffic from Merewether Tower to MA Jinnah Road will be diverted to I. I. Chundrigar Road.
While vehicles coming from Mumtaz Hassan Road and Aiwan-e-Tijarat Road will be diverted to Sindh Madressatul Islam University.
Traffic coming from University Road and Guru Mandir towards MA Jinnah road will not be allowed to proceed.
