Govt taking all measures to revive country’s economy, says CM Buzdar

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar on Tuesday said the incumbent government has taken stern measures to put the country’s ‘derailed’ economy back on the track, ARY NEWS reported.

This he said while expressing his views in a meeting held with elected MPAs of the party hailing from Rawalpindi, who called on him here in Lahore. Federal Minister for Petroleum, Sarwar Khan also met the Chief Minister Buzdar.

Talking to the visiting members of the Punjab Assembly, Buzdar said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is filled with spirit of serving masses without any discrimination, adding hard decisions meant to revival of the “fractured” economy, which was inherited by the past rulers, he maintained.

The chief minister assured people of Pakistan to have trust in their government, the situation will start to improve soon.

Usman Buzdar said that PM Imran is fully committed to make Pakistan a self-reliant state by wriggling it out of crisis.

Punjab’s chief minister on Monday (November 19) had vowed to provide basic facilities to the people at their doorsteps in ‘Naya Pakistan.’

In a statement released from his office, Usman Buzdar had said that healthcare, quality education and potable water etc are the fundamental rights of every human being adding that their government will ensure provision of these facilities to every citizen.

He reiterated that Punjab will play the role of a vanguard to achieve the goal of a new Pakistan and societal change which were dreamt by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“Everybody will have to work hard to keep the country moving on the road of development and prosperity”, he continued.

“No one will be allowed to hamper the process of development of new Pakistan”, he said and added that a policy of zero-tolerance has been adopted to overcome the menace of corruption and injustice along with eradication of land grabbing in the province.

He vowed that the golden principles of supremacy of merit, transparency, austerity and rule of law will be the conspicuous symbols of the new Pakistan.
